Caramel Corn in a Snap!

Easy Homemade Caramel Corn

I for one do not like to waste my time making homemade caramel corn. I’ve found it’s much easier just to use Junk Food Coupons to buy, Poppycock, Fiddle Faddle, Screaming Yellow Zonkers, or any other candied popcorn you love.

The recipes for making it from home are nuts. It can take over an hour just for a little indulgence. One recipe I saw instructed you to bake the popcorn for an hour, stirring ever 7-10 minutes. Yeah, I really want to do that. Not1

When the craving for tasty popcorn strikes I either print out some free Junk Food Coupons and head to the store from some pre-made stuff, or I use the Junk Food Coupons to buy plain popcorn and marshmallows, and then I make this simple caramel corn. This is the only recipe I’ve ever been willing to try, and it’s extremely easy. Here’s the recipe.

Pop ½ cup popcorn kernals, and place them in a bowl. Melt ½ c butter and ½ c brown sugar in the pan. Then add 7 large marshmallows. Stir until melted and incorporated. Pour over popcorn and toss. It’s so easy I’ve never even considered making any other caramel corn. It’s easy to remember too. ½, ½, ½, 7. The only other thing to remember is the junk food coupons, free and valid online today.
